| 2008 Annual Toy Drive |
| The Oneida and Herkimer County Bar Associations will once again participate in the Annual Toy Drive sponsored by the Herkimer County Detachment of the Marine Corps League. Lawyers and their staff are urged to donate a new, unwrapped toy in boxes that will be located at the following locations: Rome City Court, Rome Family Court, Rome Police Department, US Federal Courthouse, Utica City Court, Oneida County Supreme Court, Oneida County Family Court Clerk's Office, Oneida County Supreme Court Law Library, Herkimer County Family Court, Herkimer County Supreme Court, or the Oneida County Bar Association office, 258 Genesee Street, Suite 302, Utica, NY.
In lieu of purchasing a toy, monetary donations (on behalf of the Bar Associations) can be sent to: Childrens Holiday Fund, c/o Marine Corps League, 178 Second Street, Ilion, NY 13357. Any questions, you may call the Bar Association office at (315)724-4901. |

| 2008 High School Mock Trial Competition |
| 2008 HIGH SCHOOL MOCK TRIAL COMPETITION
The New York State Bar Association and the Oneida County Bar Association are proud to announce the 2008 Mock Trial Tournaments! This years case will soon be announced.
We are looking for attorneys to volunteer as judges for at least two competitions. We ask for a two-hour commitment for each trial that you judge, as well as a review of the rules of the Mock Trial Competition which are available at the Law Library, Judge Donaltys Chambers or online at nysba.org. In order to retireve the information online go the the website and click on "Public Resources". Go to "Law, Youth and Citizenship" and click on 2008 mock trial materials.
